This policy explains what information Vaultspin ("we", "us") collects when you use vaultspin.games (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language, because privacy policies should be readable by the people they protect.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Account details. When you create an account we collect your email address, a password (stored in hashed form) and your confirmation that you are aged 21 or over, including your date of birth.
• Messages. If you contact us, we receive the name, email address and message content you choose to send.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data. Standard server logs record IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. We use these for security and to keep the Service running reliably.
• Preferences. Small pieces of data stored in your browser (see "Cookies & Local Storage" below) remember choices such as your cookie preference and sign-in state.

We do not collect payment information, because nothing on Vaultspin can be purchased.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate the Service: maintaining your account, saving badges and leaderboard progress, and letting games load in your browser.
• To enforce our age requirement of 21+.
• To respond when you contact us.
• To protect the Service against abuse, fraud and security threats.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

Vaultspin uses only essential browser storage: a flag recording your cookie-notice choice and, if you sign in, a session entry that keeps you signed in while your browser is open. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Games embedded from third-party studios (see section 4) may set their own technical cookies needed for the game to function; these are governed by the studios' own policies.

4. Third-Party Game Content

The games on Vaultspin are provided by established third-party game studios and load inside a window on our pages from the studios' servers. When you launch a game, your browser communicates directly with that studio's service, which will receive technical data such as your IP address and device type in order to deliver the game. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any game content you launch.

5. How Long We Keep Information

Account information is kept while your account is active. If you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where a longer period is required by law. Server logs are retained for up to 12 months for security purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us — we respond to all verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. Children and Minors

The Service is strictly for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and hashed password storage — to protect your information. No online service can promise absolute security, but we work to keep our safeguards current and proportionate.

9. International Transfers

Our servers may be located in countries other than your own. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised by applicable data-protection law.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where changes are significant, highlight them on the site before they take effect.
